Through keynote lectures, workshops, challenge-based learning and collaborative projects, participants will engage in interdisciplinary dialogue across philosophy, the arts, science and technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants will work in international teams on one of three thematic pathways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Creativity and Artificial Intelligence<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creativity and Conflict Resolution<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creativity towards Sustainability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alongside the Summer School, participants will attend the <strong>Creativity Week PhD Conference<\/strong>, <em>Thinking Creativity: An International PhD Conference in Philosophy <\/em>and a <strong>Matchmaking Event<\/strong>, providing opportunities to engage with researchers, industry representatives and societal stakeholders while expanding their European networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div data-wp-interactive=\"core\/file\" class=\"wp-block-file\"><object data-wp-bind--hidden=\"!state.hasPdfPreview\" hidden class=\"wp-block-file__embed\" data=\"https:\/\/transform4europe.units.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1Call_SummerSchool_CreativityWeek_UCP_102026-004-2.pdf\" type=\"application\/pdf\" style=\"width:100%;height:600px\" aria-label=\"Embed of #1Call_SummerSchool_CreativityWeek_UCP_102026 (004).\"><\/object><a id=\"wp-block-file--media-31632d73-383b-4524-ae16-220dc8decba4\" href=\"https:\/\/transform4europe.units.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1Call_SummerSchool_CreativityWeek_UCP_102026-004-2.pdf\">#1Call_SummerSchool_CreativityWeek_UCP_102026 (004)<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/transform4europe.units.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1Call_SummerSchool_CreativityWeek_UCP_102026-004-2.pdf\" class=\"wp-block-file__button wp-element-button\" download aria-describedby=\"wp-block-file--media-31632d73-383b-4524-ae16-220dc8decba4\">Download<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>T4EU Creativity Week Summer School<\/strong> is open to <strong>Master\u2019s students (interested in doctoral studies) and PhD students <\/strong>who are <strong>currently enrolled at the University of Trieste <\/strong>and will <strong>remain enrolled <\/strong>at the time of the event and have<strong> good communication <\/strong>and<strong> comprehension skills in English<\/strong> <strong>(minimum B2 recommended<\/strong>). UniTS will select 5 candidates; preference will be given to PhD students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the application form, candidates will be asked to submit a <strong>Motivational Letter<\/strong> (English; maximum 500 words) explaining:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Why would you like to participate in the Creativity Week?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Which thematic pathway interests you the most, and why?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How will you share the knowledge and experience gained with the T4EU community?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Summer School students may request recognition of up to&nbsp;<strong>3 ECTS credits<\/strong>. Applications will be open only to <strong>PhD students <\/strong>with good communication and comprehension skills in English (<strong>minimum B2 recommended<\/strong>). As part of the Creativity Week 2026, participants wishing to extend their stay will also have the possibility to take part in the Matchmaking Event on 15 and 16 October, offering them the opportunity <strong>invited to submit a proposal for a 15-minute oral presentation<\/strong> on a topic related to creativity from a philosophical or interdisciplinary perspective.<br>Proposals may address, but are not limited to, the following themes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Philosophy of Creativity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Artificial Intelligence and Creativity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creativity and Ethics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creativity and Sustainability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creativity and Conflict Resolution<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creativity and Innovation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Creativity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Submissions should include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Title of the presentation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Abstract (maximum 250 words)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Three to five keywords<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Author&#8217;s name and institutional affiliation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Short biography (maximum 100 words)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Submission of a paper proposal is <strong>entirely optional<\/strong> and is <strong>not a requirement<\/strong> for participation in the conference. <strong>Preference will be given to participants who submitted a paper proposal, particularly to participants ultimately selected by Universidade Cat\u00f3lica Portuguesa to give the oral
