The call is jointly promoted by the University of Trieste and the University of Primorska-Capodistria within the T4EU initiatives and is <strong>open to candidates<\/strong> from <strong>outside <\/strong>the <strong>Alliance <\/strong>for teaching and research at both universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The selected Visiting Professors will deliver lectures, seminars, and conduct research in areas consistent with the <strong>T4EU priorities<\/strong>: digital transformation, environmental sustainability, and social transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Who is eligible<\/strong>: Departments and Faculties of the two universities interested in hosting full professors, associate professors, researchers, or equivalent positions from foreign research institutions not belonging to the T4EU Alliance. They must submit their applications jointly, each to their respective universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Period of Activity: First or second semester of the 2026\/2027 academic year and must be concluded by June 30, 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Application deadlines<\/strong>: there are two application windows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First semester 2026\/2027: deadline September 21, 2026.<br>Second semester 2026\/2027: deadline February 12, 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> <strong>How to apply<\/strong>: Departments and Faculties interested in hosting a Visting Professor must submit their applications, together with the\u00a0<strong>documents listed below,\u00a0<\/strong>by an email\u00a0to the following addresses, indicating \u201c<strong>T4EU \u2013 THIRD JOINT CALL FOR VISITING PROFESSORSHIP\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>as the subject line:<br>University of Trieste: relazioni.internazionali@amm.units.it<br>University of Primorska: transform4europe@upr.si<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each Department and Faculty may nominate and submit a maximum of two applications from its academic staff, indicating their order of priority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications should be sent by email with the subject line &#8220;T4EU \u2013 THIRD JOINT CALL FOR VISITING PROFESSORSHIP&#8221; to the following addresses:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">University of Trieste: relazioni.internazionali@amm.units.it<br>University of Primorska: transform4europe@upr.si<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Documents to attach<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/portale.units.it\/sites\/default\/files\/2026-08\/Annex%20A%20T4EU%20VP%208.3_0.docx\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/portale.units.it\/sites\/default\/files\/2026-08\/Annex%20A%20T4EU%20VP%208.3_0.docx\">Application form &#8211; Annex A<\/a>, signed by the Head of the host Department.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visiting Professor&#8217;s CV, written in English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Declaration of Interest from the candidate in English, completed and signed according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/portale.units.it\/sites\/default\/files\/2026-08\/Annex%20B%20T4EU%20VP%208.3_0.docx\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/portale.units.it\/sites\/default\/files\/2026-08\/Annex%20B%20T4EU%20VP%208.3_0.docx\">form Annex B<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Copy of a valid identity document of the candidate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Copy of the Department Council minutes, certifying the commitment to host the Visiting Professor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The third Call for Applications for Visiting Professors has been published.
